Greetings Ivo, your view of the relationship between technology and the human being is similar to my own.

The intersect between technology and humanity has been considered to be a stride forward by most observers.

The insidious creep of technology and its intrusion upon our senses has wrought physical, psychological and spiritual changes. As gradual, over the long term, as these changes might be, they work back upon us and have done incalculable harm.

The greatest challenge might be the resulting separation from the natural world. As we become separated from the various realms of nature our abilities to function as conscious members of the cosmic whole are greatly reduced.

The constant stride of materialism, the search for the American dream, might indeed be the goal for many. Once attained the dream needs to be fed, leaving little else of our life forces left over that might be needed to penetrate the many areas of life and culture that also require nourishment and penetration.

A volte mi accorgo che soddisfo l'ego grazie a internet, a volte mi sento meno solo. Penso che se vivessimo in una società o villaggio tribale e solidale il computer non mi interesserebbe. Grazie per la riflessione
