This is a revelation to me. I am a 28 year old college student in SW Missouri, and the people in this part of the country simply aren’t aware and/or concerned with modes of thought such as what has been described here. I always have lived in this part of the country and have always felt like an outsider. Perhaps it is from a lack of a fully developed frontal lobe. But seriously, I have been opening myself up to new ideas recently. Ideas which don’t seem to be widely accepted in a conservative environment such as the one that exists in the city I live in. Here one is more likely to see a Jesus fish on the back of a camouflaged Dodge truck than an original piece of art work, architecture, or thought for that matter. I recently saw the movie ”zeitgeist,” and I have been researching many of the points outlined in the film, documentary, what have you, and in doing so have realized that we as a society have lost many of the the fundamental ideas and concerns which make life the amazing journey that it was meant to be. Also, we as a country are not concerned with the waste of the planet or the human soul. Most Americans seem more caught up in the drama that is popular culture, religion, media as a whole, and all the fears that they propagate than the pursuit of truth. I say we are on a downward spiral of apathy and ignorance that we most likely wont see the end of anytime in the near future. For example, I get my news from John Stewart over the news paper or my local nightly news program. Is that more or less credible? Where does one go to find the truth today and who is the greater fool for having a difference of opinion? Speaking both figuratively and literally, when the wells dry up and we as a people are without anything of substance that can be appreciated or renewed, we may meet an end that may force us to do in desperation what we should be doing now in love.

La tua ricerca sui lobi frontali da risposte a molte mie domande.
Sai Ivo, credo che ormai sia tutto perduto.
Credo che l’unica via per la razza umana sia di distruggersi quando arriva ad un certo punto di “civiltà” e di ricominciare da capo con un altro tipo di civiltà/esperienza.
Non ho mai creduto alla favolina del passaggio nell’Era dell’Acquario, nel salto evolutivo di tutto il pianeta etc.. etc..
Credo che la razza umana per sua natura sia destinata a sperimentarsi nei diversi modi di distruggersi e di distruggere tutto quello che le sta intorno. Una sorta di passaggio obbligato dell’evoluzione dell’universo. Si passa da qua (terra) si vivono centinaia di migliaia di vite e poi (forse) si passa ad una dimensione differente quando finalmente impari il rispetto per te stesso e per il pianeta stesso. Ma è un salto individuale, non per il pianeta, non per tutta la razza umana. Solo per chi riesce a maturare una evoluzione tale per cui può lasciare questa dimensione. Forse è questo che intende la Chiesa quando parla del Regno dei Cieli e di ricongiungersi al Padre. Sarebbe bello che tutto il pianeta potesse fare un salto evolutivo, ma non può.. Il ciclo della vita e della morte così come è su questo pianeta glielo impedirà. L’essere umano per sua propria natura glielo impedirà.
Ma non è inutile il “lavoro su di sé” che molti umani intraprendono. Credo servirà per fare il salto individuale, non per salvare il mondo.
